MJ SPED deals with road and rail freight transport. We have been specializing in road freight transport to/from the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania for over 26 years. Today, we are equally strong in the field of transporting consignments within the European Union member states. We offer less than truckload and full truckload transports. MJ SPED focuses mainly on freight transport to/from Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Greece, Bulgaria and Romania. Lines to/from the Czech Republic, Germany and the Baltic region are also a matter of course. However, we transport less than truckload and full truckload consignments to all corners of the EU for our partners.

In the case of freight transport within the Eastern European and Asian regions, the price does not depend only on the distance as in the case of freight transport within the EU. The calculation of the transportation costs is influenced also by border crossing points and the waiting times at them, bureaucracy and related costs, and even on the planning of shipments for the way back – which are mostly far away from the place of delivery of the goods. For the various regions, the prices of full truckload consignments are influenced by several factors, such as the value and type of the goods (high-value goods, ADR, …), transport capacities (MEGA trailer, 120 cbm vehicle, FRIGO, …), or seasonality. Delivery to non-EU countries directly depends on the situation at the border crossing points and on the roads. (winter months) In general, the following delivery times apply for full truckload consignments from our region:

Each legal entity that wants to export/import goods to/from third countries (non-EU countries) must be registered and must have a valid EORI number. This number serves as a common reference number when dealing with customs authorities all over the Community and for information exchange between customs authorities and other authorities. To ensure the uniqueness of the EORI numbers, a single number is used for each individual. To facilitate administration, the EORI number is identical to the VATIN number. Consequently, if an exporter does not have his own employee to handle customs declarations, he has to enter into an agency agreement with a provider of such services, who will then handle all the necessary tasks (the export/import itself) on behalf of the client with the customs authorities. Our company provides these services to the clients, and not only in the territory of the Slovak Republic. When we give assistance to the client all through the process of sending goods, we save time for him and spare him from communication with other entities. Therefore, besides the freight transport itself, we manage our clients’ customs clearance process, too.
