MJ SPED offers organizing the transportation of consignments from 1 pallet space up to full truckload or even oversize load, making use of all the available types of capacities to carry it out. The main focus of our company is road and rail transport, where we concentrate mainly on remote areas in the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan.
Less than truckload shipments (LTL)
Shipments in the form of consolidated shipments or groupage (LTL), making use of all the available types of transport capacities, are suitable for clients with consignments that are not in express mode (or JIT) and that can be loaded onto a vehicle where they share the cargo space with the consignments of other clients. This form of shipment is usually unsuitable for temperature-controlled consignments.
MJ SPED transports less than truckload consignments starting from 1 pallet space and other types of consignments that exceed the size limits of courier companies. We do not perform parcel shipments. Make use of less than truckload shipments by MJ SPED and test the quality of our services.

Full truckload shipments (FTL)
Full truckload shipments (FTL) are the fastest way to deliver your consignment. We perform door-to-door deliveries mostly with tautliners, isothermal semi-trailers and refrigerator trailers. We also carry express, or JIT, consignments. Vehicles equipped with GPS are a matter of course on the client’s request.

Full truckload shipments by smaller vehicles
We can transport your full truckload shipments, whether in a standard or express way, by smaller vehicles, too:
- Vans with a capacity of up to 1.2 tons
- 16-pallet vehicles with a capacity of 3 to 3.4 tons
- 18-pallet, so-called “solo” vehicles with a capacity of up to 8 tons
- trailer combinations of up to 24 tons and lightweighted trailers of up to 25-26 tons
- 100 cbm mega trailers
- 120 cbm combinations
Note: The individual superstructures of the vehicles enable us to provide vehicles with various parameters, adjusted to the exact volume and weight of your consignment.
Dangerous goods consignments – ADR
We can supply less than truckload and full truckload solutions even for consignments that are subject to ADR. Be it a consignment with a volume of only 1 pallet or
a full truckload consignment within or outside the European Union, just send us the specifications of your ADR consignment and we will be happy to give you a price quote.
Oversize load transport
In oversize load transport, MJ SPED s.r.o. specializes mainly in markets outside the EU where we can provide viable solutions thanks to our many years of experience and know-how. However, we will be happy to process your request even for oversize load transport within the EU.
Our main markets for oversize load transport are: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Serbia, Kazakhstan.
Our company has ample experience in oversize load transport; one of the projects we have carried out recently was the transport of equipment worth a total of EUR 5.5 million from Slovakia to Belarus.
Rail freight transport
In rail freight transport, we focus on shipments to and from remote corners of the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan. Whether it is a transport by various types of wagons or a full train, we are happy to supply the momentarily available solutions to you.
Example: we perform freight transport for our client from Slovakia on the Slovakia – Almaty, Kazakhstan line, while carrying the consignment by trailer sets from the place of loading to a transshipment railway hub in Poland where we store it and, subsequently, deliver it to the consignee in a selected wagon (according to the client’s needs) to Kazakhstan.
Consignment storage
We offer storage services for your goods in the premises of our partners. Not only in cases when the goods must be stored for a longer period but also when transferring the goods – when freight transport costs can be optimized by combining various capacities, or in the case of groupage services as a consolidated warehouse. We can arrange for storage place for our clients exactly according to the needs of their project or shipment – in Slovakia or in another country.
Example: we load goods for our client from Germany in Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic and transport them to a consolidated warehouse in Poland or Lithuania in transport regime between EU member states. We store the goods at a warehouse according to the client’s needs and, subsequently, load the goods to a groupage vehicle, arrange all the necessary formalities, such as the customs clearance of the exported goods, and deliver the goods to Moscow in the Russian Federation.
In the case of damage, the insurance claim is paid directly to you as the owner of the consignment. We are happy to do a price calculation for the insurance of your consignment – we only need information about the place of pick-up/delivery, quantity and value of the consignment.
Consignment insurance – triple coverage of the client
We know how important it is to have a high-quality insurance policy for shipments. That is why we have chosen a relatively costly but all the more high-quality foreign product for our clients by the WIENER STÄDTISCHE Versicherung AG insurance agency.
We hold a freight forwarder and carrier insurance policy with an insurance coverage of EUR 200,000, and the insurance applies even to damages caused by third parties, i.e. by partner carriers. For detailed information about our insurance policy, please contact your shipment manager. 3 levels of insurance coverage (apart from the client’s own insurance policy) are possible within the consignor (client) – freight forwarder – carrier transport chain.
The carrier who transports the consignment, has his own CMR insurance and is liable for XDR 8.33 per kilogram. (approximately EUR 10.- per kilogram of the damaged or lost consignment) We verify the validity of the CMR insurance policies of our partners regularly and we select partner carriers with insurance policies that cover the value and nature of the carried goods.
The freight forwarder, i.e. MJ SPED s.r.o., has the above freight forwarder’s/carrier’s insurance, with a maximum insurance claim of EUR 200,000.- / risk materialized.
Additional consignment insurance applies if the client is interested in an additional insurance coverage of the consignment during its shipment. If the value of the consignment exceeds EUR 10.- per kilogram, it is recommended to have the consignment insured and prevent losses if the risk materializes. Moreover, additional insurance covers other risks than the carrier’s or freight forwarder’s insurance (e.g. handling during loading/unloading, theft etc.). In the case of additional insurance, it is directly the client who is insured, and the insurance claim is sent to his account.
We will be happy to give you a calculation for the additional insurance of your consignment; you only need to specify the type of the consignment (e.g. machinery, building material etc.), the place of loading/unloading and the value of the consignment. We offer favourable insurance fees and we can arrange for an additional consignment insurance even starting from EUR 7. Customs declaration
For consignments transported to/from third countries, we offer services in the field of customs declaration. We customize the solution to the specific client. We operate a wide portfolio of partners with seats in major transport hubs and, therefore, we can customs-clear the consignment efficiently and minimize the extra rides of the vehicles, which optimizes the costs for the client.
Example: For a client from Košice, Slovakia, we transport a consignment from Turkey which he buys and sells to his customer in Žilina, Slovakia. We transport the consignment straight to Bratislava, we custom-clear the consignment in Bratislava on behalf of the client and, after the neutralization of the documents, we deliver it to the customer without the client having to leave Košice or transport the consignment to Košice and, from there, to Bratislava by other capacities.
Example: For a client from Slovakia, for whom we import consignments from the Russian Federation, we apply fiscal customs clearance in Poland. The transport route remains optimal but the client saves a significant amount by not having to pay VAT in Slovakia.

Information is crucial today, not only in the field of freight transport but in other sectors, too. In our concept of our services to our clients, it is important to keep the client informed about the status of the transported consignment so that he can plan his further operations with it safely.
